Position Overview:The Chief Product Technology Officer (CPTO) will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's technological and product vision strategy. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of product development and technology innovation. The CPTO will lead our efforts to leverage technology to drive innovation, enhance product offerings, and deliver exceptional customer value.We are looking for someone who not only leads but inspires. Someone prepared to work directly with our founders to design, lead, and execute the product and technology strategy that will define the future of Heru. We seek a born leader with vast experience solving big problems through technological products—one who contributes knowledge and passion. Someone who is not afraid to get deeply involved in work has sharp analytical skills and does not hesitate to make crucial decisions.

‍Location: México preferred with a hybrid model. Open to considering remote for exceptional candidates 

Funciones

Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the company's technology roadmap in alignment with the overall business strategy.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering and product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
‍Product Innovation and strategy: Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative products and features that meet market needs and drive business growth.
‍Team Development: Build and develop a high-performing technology and product team, attracting top talent and fostering a culture of learning and growth.
‍Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, design, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of product and technology initiatives.
‍Quality and Performance:
Drive continuous improvement in product quality, performance, and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
‍Research and Development: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, researching and experimenting to identify opportunities for technological innovation.

Requisitos del cargo

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven track record of leadership in product development and technology innovation, preferably in fintech.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technology initiatives.
• Experience in building and leading high-performing technology teams.
• Proven experience in conceptualizing and executing strategies that have driven the success of a digital product in the market.
• Strong ability to understand and prioritize user needs, turning them into effective solutions that drive growth.
• High proficiency in Product Analytics, advanced SQL, and a focus on data-driven decision-making. Likewise, you must have a strong ability to lead the execution of A/B experiments and the ideation and validation of hypotheses.
• Experience implementing and perfecting agile methodologies for an efficient development cycle.
• In-depth knowledge of agile product development frameworks and methodologies, such as Agile, Lean Startup, and Design Thinking.
